Galvo, short for galvanometer scanner, is an electromechanical device used to control the movement and positioning of laser beams. It consists of a small mirror mounted on a motorized arm, which rapidly adjusts its angle to direct the laser beam across a surface with high precision and speed. Galvos are commonly used in applications like laser engraving, cutting, 3D printing, and scanning, where precise beam control is essential.
